Meet the owner

Amanda Troutman

•Known for solving weird QBO problems, building systems out of sheer frustration, and turning bookkeeping conversations into storytelling opportunities.

•Has yet to meet a spreadsheet she couldn’t befriend or whip into shape.

•Has been known to rewrite entire sentences to avoid misspelling a single word.

•Will spontaneously break into song when given the opportunity.

•May have created a tracker to keep track of all her other trackers.

Meet the Team

Meet the team that keeps Novel Bookkeepers running. Some may be more qualified than others…

Katelyn

Summer Intern

A fast learner and a real go-getter. Chose to spend her summer break learning bookkeeping, client relations, and small business operations. Her youthful spirit and energy brings curiosity, creativity, and a fresh perspective to the team.

Max

Part-time Security Consultant

A most faithful team member. Investigates every potential threat, sounding alarms when necessary. So far, he has kept us safe from birds, squirrels, rabbits, armadillos, leaves, wind, his imagination, neighbors minding their own business, and even an eerily questionable silence. Prides himself on being a very good boy.

Velcro

Administrative Assistant

In charge of boosting office morale. Inspects office equipment (i.e. keyboard and mouse) often. Always willing to lend a helping paw. Happily accepts back scritches as compensation. Never afraid to be caught taking a cat nap.

Brodie

Lead Security Supervisor

After extensive training from our Head of Security, this good boy has embraced all his new responsibilities. Will alert you to any potential threats  by enacting the Bark Tree. Floating plastic bags are no match for this good boy.

The Burny Family

Groundskeeping Crew

Outsourced for pest control operations and perimeter inspections. Works exclusively outdoors and maintains a no meetings policy. Management and Staff agree to maintain respectful distances.
